Paul David Bean, age 65, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on July 13, 2024, at his home. Paul was born to Donald and Joyce (Mallory) Bean on September 26, 1958, in Springfield. He was raised in the Springfield community, graduated from Central High School in 1976, and remained a lifelong resident of Springfield. Following high school, Paul proudly served in the United States Marine Corps until his honorable discharge on November 2, 1979. Paul was later united in marriage to Candy Rosati in the state of California. Paul and Candy were blessed with two children, Dawna and David.
During his time in the United States Marine Corps, Paul attained the rank of corporal (E-4) and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He also received honors as a rifle and pistol expert. Paul entered active service in Kansas City and was honorably discharged from active duty at the Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro, California.
Paul was a talented mechanic and welder. He excelled in the automotive repair industry for many years. When not working, Paul liked to ride motorcycles and dirt bikes. He was also an avid fisherman and NASCAR enthusiast.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Bean, and his wife, Candy Bean. He is survived by his father, Donald; sister, Teresa LeeAnn Hughes; daughter, Dawna Patrice Rosati; and son, David Allen Rosati.
No services are scheduled at this time. Paul will be laid to rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at a later date. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Arrangements are under the compassionate direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, Missouri.
