Paul Ernest Payne, age 89, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Strafford Care Center. He served in the United States Navy. Paul retired from City Utilities.
He was preceded in death by wife, Vivian; his parents, David and Isabelle Payne; one brother; and three sisters.
He is survived by a daughter, Carol Everitt (Paul); three sons, Lewis Payne (Kay), Kenneth Payne (Kaki), and Dennis Payne; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday in White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made to the local Preferred Hospice Association.
