Kevin Bolin, age 46, of Springfield, Mo., was born on January 26, 1964, in Wichita, Kan., and passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Duke Medical Center Durham, N.C., from complications from a double lung transplant.
He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1982 and was self-employed (United Plumbing, Elite Plumbing and Clean Pro). He was united in marriage to Teresa Dorean (Waters) Bolin on October 29, 1982, in Springfield, Mo. He was baptised at Evergreen Church, Willard, Mo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Bolin; father, Paul Bolin; mother, Betty Bolin; children, Kristyn Rachelle Kenney and her husband John Kenney, and Kaylee Paige Bolin; seven grandchildren, Mya, Livia, Phoenix, Garrett, McKinnley, Boone, and Isla; brothers, Mitch and his wife Lanie Bolin, and Mark and his wife Brenda Bolin; sister, Dana McKeen; and nieces and nephews, Amber, Nichole, Kyle, Megan, Alex, Jordan, Matthew, Aidan, Madison, Sophia, and Addison; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kevin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Kevin loved to laugh and greatly enjoyed making others laugh as well. Kevin, along with his wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be in Evergreen Church, Willard, Mo., at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be December 28, 2010, from 11:30 to 1 p.m., in Evergreen Church.
