Pauline “Polly” Watters (Graybeal) was born on February 15, 1949, in Cecil, Maryland to the late Willis and Maxine Graybeal. Polly passed away unexpectedly in her home on May 7, 2024. Polly is survived by her husband Joe Watters, daughter Alisha Burke (Stevens), grandchildren Chloe Judd and Wyatt Burke, Stepchildren Chris Watters (Susan) and Darlene Reynolds (Dwayne), grandchildren Reagan and Mia Watters, and great grandson Mason Reynolds. In her early elementary years Polly moved to Gassville, Arkansas and shortly after moved to Springfield, Missouri. Polly graduated from Parkview High School in 1967, In 2005 she married the love of her life, Joe Watters, where they resided at Rice Camp in Reeds Spring, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with family and was an active member of the Elks Lodge in Ozark, Missouri.
Polly was very passionate about spending time with her grandchildren along with going to their sporting events. She loved being in the company of friends and family while playing cards and playing with her dog Amber.
Pauline is also survived by her sisters Doris Parrish (Ron), Sandy Stoneman (Red), Sue Jones (Jim), brother Wayne Graybeal (Julie), nieces, nephews, and many others who loved her dearly. Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Pauline was preceded in death by her father, mother, stepfather Ed Finley, brothers Jack Eldreth, Willis (Bill) Graybeal and nephew Chris Lane.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
Graveside Services will be held at Payne Cemetery in Nixa, MO on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at Christian County Elks Lodge 2777 at 1:00 pm. Remember her smiling face, so everyone come with a smile on your face.
