Peggy Ann Stine (Hawkins) was born November 10, 1936 to Paul H. and Rachel E. (Hawk) Hawkins in Greenfield, Missouri. She peacefully left this earth to join the love of her life, Derald Stine on May 17, 2016 at 4:13 pm.
After living in Alluwe, Oklahoma for six years, she and her parents moved to Springfield, Missouri to pursue a more prosperous and comfortable life. Peggy’s Father, Paul Hawkins attained employment with C. Meeks Lumber Company where he was entrusted with the day to day operations of multiple lumber yards in Springfield and the surrounding area.
Peggy met Derald Stine at Taylor’s Drive-In where they shared a Coca-Cola and a common bond leading to a fortuitous and dynamic life with one another.
For over 30 years Peggy was a successful Real Estate Agent. She and her husband then retired and moved to the Table Rock Lake area where she owned and managed a video rental shop.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Ann Kessinger and husband Matt Palazzolo of St. Louis, Missouri, son, Samuel Derald Stine, daughter, Rebecca Jane Rose, and grandson Sam Houston Rose all of Ridgedale, Missouri.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and services will follow at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson, Missouri.
