Philip Robert Love, age 65, of Springfield, MO, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2024. Born July 29, 1958, in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Philip was a graduate of Largo High School (1975), followed by Central Bible School (1980) and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (1996). Technically minded, he used his construction and automotive skills to help those he saw in need. He was a dedicated member of his community church where he shared his musical gifts.
Philip was preceded in death by his father Dr. Robert A. Love, and survived by his mother, Helen F. Love and children Joshua Love (spouse Ashley; Zoe, Emma), Nathan Love, Rebekah Connelly (spouse Josh; Judah, Aria) Rachel Love-Jones (spouse Jonathan), and siblings Stephen Love, David Love, and Jonathan Love, along with their families.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 14 at Weller Community Church, 1624 E. Blaine St. Springfield, MO 65803, with a family reception at 4:00 pm followed by a service at 5:15 pm. All who know and love Philip are welcome to attend.
