Phyllis Jean Strickbine, 84, of Springfield, MO died on November 17, 2011, at St. Johns Hospital.
Phyllis was born April 18, 1927, in Hillsboro, Ks to Levi and Irene (Ollenberger) Buller.
Phyllis was united in marriage to Noel “Spike” Strickbine on September 23, 1945, and to this union Trudy Kay and Cary Wayne were born.
She was a very dedicated wife and mother. Phyllis was a student of the Bible under the direction of Otis Q. Sellers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Spike of 25 years.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Trudy Strickbine, of Springfield, Mo, son Cary Wayne and his wife Donella “Cris” Sand Springs, Ok, two grandsons Alex and his wife Michelle of Sand Springs, Ok, and Kyle, presently Serving in the Air Force.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov 21, 2011, at National Cemetery, Springfield, Mo under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
