Phyllis Jean Thatcher passed away January 1, 2015. She was born in Phoenix, MO. She married James Thatcher on July 21, 1977. Phyllis was a kind, loving and generous person and was loved by all who knew her. Phyllis had a green thumb and was a talented cook and painter. She was a member of Halltown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons: John McNabb on March 16, 2014 and Doug McNabb on October 20, 2014.
She is survived by her husband, James Thatcher of the home; one daughter, Jill Kennedy of Kansas City, MO; and one son Carl McNabbs of Lebanon, MO. She was adored and will be missed by grandchildren, Jake and Josh McNabb, Shannon Dravenstott, Erin and Sam Whisler, and Nick, Trisha and Kaci McNabb. Phyllis had five great-grandchildren: Couper McNabb, Molly and Corbin Navarro and Amelia and Emmett Dravenstott, which she enjoyed immensely. She is also survived by loving siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Yeakley Chapel Cemetery.
