Phyllis was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Lake City, IA, the daughter of Dale and Rena Buchholtz.
Following childhood, high school and college in Iowa, Kansas and Missouri, she worked for more than three decades as a legal secretary in Kansas City, MO.
She was proud to be a member of the Hillcrest Presbyterian Church. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and loved ones with whom she will now be reunited.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Buchholtz; uncle, Don Somers; close cousins, Joni Green and Joyce (Jim) Krug, along with numerous other loving family members and friends who will miss her very much.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillcrest Presbyterian Church or the Humane Society in her name.
