She was born in Columbia, Missouri, and was known for her caring nature, steady presence, and the comfort she brought to those around her. She especially enjoyed square dancing, a pastime that brought her joy and lasting friendships.
Survivors include her sons, John Dennis Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri, and Steven Wayne Dennis of Pittsburg, Missouri; one grandson, Tanner Allen Dennis of Columbia, Missouri; and her sisters, Betty Fisher of Collierville, Tennessee, Della Dickson of Independence, Missouri, Josie Lowery of Kennett, Missouri, Margie Crane of Columbia, Missouri, and Louise Blakemore of Columbia, Missouri.
No formal services are planned. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
