Ralph Alma Woodward (“Butch”), a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the age of 68, due to complications following heart surgery at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 31, 1957, Ralph was the son of the late Ralph and Connie Woodward. He spent most of his life working as a baker in Utah, previously residing in West Jordan, before moving to Branson, Missouri, two and one- half years ago. The last two seasons he worked at Silver Dollar City.
Ralph was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two-year mission in Virginia. Since moving to Branson he has enjoyed all the fun music and entertainment available in the city and the friendships he made at church, the senior center, in his homeowner association, and attending breakfast with the local ROMEO group..
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janet Lee Woodward, and his children: Sean Woodward, Brian Woodward, and Julie Berry. He was also blessed with several grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought him immense joy.
He is survived by his sisters, Eva Salazar, Janette Taylor, Janine McMillan, and Lucy Borg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Connie Woodward, and two siblings, Vickie Cammack and Wesley Woodward.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Branson LDS Chapel, located at 224 Church Road, Branson.
