Ralph R. (Dick) Graham, 84, a long-time resident rural Dakota County, NE, and most recently Springfield, MO, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2013. He was devoted to a life of farming and knew the significance of living close to the land. Dick’s love and dedication to his family and friends was evident to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched.
Monday, April 1, 2013 visitation will be held 11- 12, and the funeral service will be held 12 -1 at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Interment will be in MO Veterans Cemetery.
Dick was born of the flesh May 12, 1928 and to life in the Lord in 1974. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and returned to Nebraska where he farmed until his retirement in 2000. Dick married Jane Andersen on November 23, 1951, who passed away in 1974. They had two children, Rita (RJ) and Julie. On August 19, 1978, he married Sharon Martini. They moved to Springfield, Missouri upon Dick’s retirement.
Dick is survived by his wife; daughters; son-in-law, Greg Heil (Julie’s husband); grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Tristyn, Aiden, Isaiah, Elijah, and Maya.
