Randall Kent Morris, age 55, peacefully departed from this world on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 31, 1968 in Springfield, MO, to the late Jack and Norma Morris.
He graduated from Platte County High School in Platte City, Missouri. He attended Missouri State University where he studied Architectural Drafting and Project/Construction Management.
Randy was united in marriage to the love of his life, Kimberly Morris, on August 3, 1996. He is also survived by his son Gage Morris (Madilynn Morris); son Gannon Morris.
Randy was exceptional in every way. A hard worker, devoted husband, loving father and an extraordinary friend. He lived a life that exemplified love, faith, and dedication. A master of everything, Randy could find joy in anything he did. He loved to hunt, fish, shoot and cook – and he was good at them all. However, his love for the things he did paled in comparison to the love he had for his family and friends. Randy was selfless and always put others before himself. We will always remember Randy for his sense of humor, great food, and tremendous heart. The impact Randy made on those around him will forever last in our hearts, and his legacy will live on through the memories we shared with him.
In lieu of flowers, per Randy’s last request, he wanted to ensure his youngest son, Gannon, had everything he needed to get around. He asked the family to set up a Go Fund Me page to help raise funds for a much needed van and handicap van lift for Gannon. Please visit the link below.
The family will have a celebration of life on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00am at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. A funeral service will follow as we accompany Randy to his final resting place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate, as we pay tribute to a man who touched our lives in countless ways.
