Randy Stokes, 60, of Pleasant Hope,left this life to meet our Lord,Savior and Creator on February 16,2013.Randy was born to Esther and Grant Stokes on August 22, 1952 in Springfield , Missouri. Randy graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1970. Randy married Mary Stokes on June 6, 2009 in their home at Pleasant Hope. Randy worked as a photo journalist for KOLR 10 since 1997. He is survived by wife, Mary Leigh Stokes; his parents Grant and Esther E. Stokes; his four children, Katrisa Hess and husband Ron of Oronogo, Randy Stokes Jr. and wife Lisa of Haysville, Kansas, Jennafer Johnson and husband Andy of Oronogo, and Sarah Holland and husband Stacy of Everton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother Richard Stokes and wife Judy of Harrisonville, Missouri; brother –in-law, Bill Lowry of the state of Colorado; and a host of family and friends. A celebration of Randy’s life will be 1:00 p.m. on February 19, 2013, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial in Antioch Cemetery, Everton, Missouri. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. February 18, 2013 in the Funeral Home.
