Ray Mariage (90) died Wednesday November 19th at 5:30 pm from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Born in Georgetown, Illinois, he was a veteran of WWII studied for the ministry at Olivet Nazarene College and served as pastor in several communities with the Church of the Nazarene in Waukegan, Ill as well as Ohio. After retirement, he served as Senior assistant Pastor at Hot Springs, AR First Church of the Nazarene. He was an accomplished master carpenter and used his skills to start and build several churches during his ministering years. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Hazel and their two sons Philip and Duane. Also surviving are Duane’s wife Debbie, their sons Andy and Adam and daughter Aubrey, Philip’s daughters Tiffany, Rachelle and son Philip. He was also the proud grandfather of 7 great grandchildren.No services will be held, however donations to local Alzheimer’s organizations may be made in his honor
