Reba L. Sapp, age 76, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010, in St. John’s Hospital. She was born March 19, 1934, in Ozark, Mo., to Charles and Emma (DeWitt) Cobb.
She was a member of the Broadway Bible Church. She was an Avon sales representative for many years. She was an avid gardener and member of the Lily Society and Floral Club. She actively participated in floral competitions of which she won several awards. She enjoyed photography, travel and fishing with her late husband. She was a wonderful cook and hosted many family reunions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Sapp; her brothers and sisters, Clifford Cobb, Florene Cook, Fern Pool, Jesse Vaughn, and Glenn Cobb.
She is survived by three sons, Donnie Sapp and his wife LuAnn, of Springfield, Ron Sapp and his wife, Leta, of Strafford, and Michael Sapp and his wife Carrie, of Nixa; grandchildren, Angie Sapp, Courtney Shull, Josh and wife Brittany Sapp, Cody Sapp, Alex Sapp, Ben and wife Lindsey Sapp, Elizabeth and husband Preston Finkle; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Stanford Cobb, Springfield, Mo., and Rex Cobb and his wife Fern, of Ozark; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Cobb, of Ozark; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, Mo., with Reverend Paul Coltharp officiating. Burial will be held in White Chapel, Springfield, Mo. Visitation will be held an hour before services on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 9 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Society.
