Rebecca Joan Hood, age 39, passed away July 23, 2013 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO. She was born June 25, 1974 in Springfield, MO.

Rebecca graduated from Central High School and attended Ozark Technical Community College. She was a homemaker, and spending time with her children and family. She enjoyed NASCAR and (collecting anything with Dale Earnhart Sr or Jr.), her cats, scrap booking, collecting cows and taking photos of family and friends. Rebecca attended The Branch Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Walter and Lorene Doyle, paternal grandmother in law Lelia Hood, paternal grandparents James P. and Helen Johnson, 2 maternal aunts; Shirley Doyle and Mary Seitz and her husband Willard Seitz, and 2 cousins; Robert Cruse and Darrell Doyle.

Rebecca is survived by her husband Robert Landon Hood of the home, her children; three sons, Dustin Tucker, Anthony (Tony) Tucker, Matthew Tucker and fiancée Taylor Scates, and a daughter, Sierra Hood, a granddaughter, Maddilynn Tucker and one on the way; her father Bob Johnson and his wife Cindy Johnson, her mother Linda (Doyle) Sbragia, four brothers and their spouses; Leslie and Misty Smart, Bobby Johnson, Anthony and Stephanie Barber and Stephen and Alesha Johnson, sisters; Michelle and Travis Mathis, Lena (Smart) Navarro, Gina Smart, Tina Smart, Nicole Smart, Amber Smart, Victoria Smart, and Kayra Smart, several nieces and nephews; Bobbie Carter, Linda Carter, Tyler Smart, Maycie Smart, Brandon Weddle and Mason Weddle, step parents Alvin and Tammy Smart, Jerry Johnson, Mason Brooke, R.J. Winstead, Tashlynn Ward, Hailey Barber, Robert and Tina Krauck, father and mother in-law Eddie and Nila Hood, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Serena Rowe, aunt and uncle-in-law Chris and David Tillinger and grandfather-in-law Ed Hood, aunts and uncles; Wayne and Geri Doyle, Kenneth and Jeanette Doyle, John “Butch” Doyle, Mary Lou Doyle, Ida Mae Davis, Betty Calton, Mary Mainor, Walter and Darlene Doyle, Janette Doyle, Johnetta and Frank Farris and Denzil and Robin Hood, cousins; Tonya Ince, Sherrie Roberts, Tammy Begg, Karrie Evans, Jubal Doyle, Scott Mainor, Donna Graves, Hanna Hood, Michael Meese, Logan Hood, Connie Houston, Amanda Hood, Dona Lou Gray, Billy Doyle, Betty Doyle, Raymond Doyle and David Doyle. Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Graveside services will be Monday, July 29, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the family for funeral expenses and sent to Eddie and Nila Hood at 1808 N. Yates Ave, Springfield, MO 65803.
