Rex Ladd, age 58 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012, in his home. He was born November 12, 1953, in Humansville, MO, to Robert and Irene (Ahart) Ladd. He is a graduate of B.H.S. Class of ’72. He was united in marriage to Ann Watts June 25, 1977. Rex was a member of the Enon Missionary Baptist Church, a Life member of the NRA, and the GoldWing Road Riders Association. He earned his pilot’s license. He loved to hunt and fish, and watch his son play soccer.
His father and his brother in-law, Charles Krtek precede him in death.
Rex is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ann, of the home; his mother, Irene Black of Bolivar, MO; his son, Ryan Ladd and Danielle Fry of Springfield, MO; his sister, Brinda Bridges and husband Carl of Bolivar, MO; nephew Curtis Krtek of Bolivar, MO; niece Angie Griner and husband David of Wyandotte, OK; sisters in-law: Connie Roan and Christie Cook of Mulkeytown, IL, Cheryl and husband Wayne Harbourn of Hannibal, MO; brothers in-law: Bryan Watts and wife Jane of Springfield, MO, and James Watts and wife Kim of Encampment, WY; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2012, in Pitts Chapel with Bro. Terry Nicodemus officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012,from 6:00-8:00 PM, in the funeral home. In lieu of plants and flowers memorial contributions may be made to the B.A.C.A Southwest MO Chapter.
