Rex Walter Watts born October 7, 1928 to
Walter & Florence (Mentink) Watts in Shelby, NE and passed away at the age of 84 on December
16, 2012 at Bolivar, Missouri. Rex
married Elizabeth (Betty) Gable in 1950 and they had eight children, five girls
and three boys. He is survived by Patricia (Darrell) Peterson, Papillion, NE; Gayla (David) Coufal, Clarkson, NE; Dana
(Michelle) Watts; Pipestone, MN; Starla (Frank) King, Columbus, NE; Pamela
(Jim) Prince, Norfolk, NE; Dennis (Roberta) Watts, Norfolk, NE; Damon (Ora)
Watts, Hooper, NE; Angela (Scott)
Neumiller, Plattsmouth, NE; 23 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Rex graduated from Shelby High School. He served in the Korean War from March 1951
to Dec 1952. Rex was a farmer most of
his life. He moved to Buffalo Missouri
in 1983 and then Bolivar, Missouri in 1993. Rex will be remembered for his
generous and giving heart and his love of telling jokes.
Rex is preceded in death by his parents,
grandson, Darrell Peterson Jr. brothers, Ronald and Roger Watts and long-time
companion Bonnie Gaeth.
