Rhonda Nichols, 64, of Republic, Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 9th, 2022.
Rhonda was born on September 2, 1958, to John and Sondra Cloyd in Springfield, Missouri. After graduating from Hilcrest High School in 1976, she went on to work at Sears and Lily Tulip. After devoting her life to raising her family, Rhonda later went on to touch many lives through the Republic School District.
In 1984, Rhonda met the love of her life, Jimmy at Lily Tulip. Rhonda and Jimmy have two beautiful daughters, Jennifer, and Rachel.
Rhonda dedicated her life to her family and to creating a loving home. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and sweet spirit. She loved her family dearly. Her husband and daughters were the light of her life and her relationship with her sisters was cherished. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
Rhonda was preceded in death by parents John and Sondra (Hicks) Cloyd; sister Rebecca Cloyd; and nephew John Andrew Krieger. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy; daughters, Jennifer and Rachel; sisters, Michelle (Rick) Krieger, Ericka Cloyd, Marti (Gary) Peterson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, December 13th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. A graveside funeral will be Wednesday, December 14th at 2:00 pm at Lindsey Chapel Cemetery in Republic, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to The Puram Lab of the Washington University School of Medicine for Otolaryngology. Instructions on how to donate are included below.
