Dr. Rhonda Rae Ridinger, born January 8, 1950, in Braddock, PA, died February 22, 2026, in Springfield, MO, following a stroke caused by antiphospholipid syndrome. I had the pleasure of meeting Rhonda on a Professional basis as I was a Remodeling Contractor here in Springfield. Over the years we had completed many projects for her. During that time we became Friends. I always Enjoyed hearing about Chris and his accomplishments to then hearing about Chris getting married and starting a Family and then of course "The Twins". Rhonda was a Wonderful person and a Good Friend. RIP my Friend.

Seeing the picture of Rhonda's face so full of life on this webpage, it is hard for me to believe she is gone. She was a wonderful person and you could feel her warmth and kindness when you were in her presence. I'm glad I was able to see her last Thanksgiving and give her a hug. More than that, I am happy that she was able to see the fruits of her labor with Chris' career success and building a beautiful family of his own. And that her life was given renewed meaning in its final years as she got to know and care for her grandsons, Charlie and Ethan. There is no doubt in my mind that her memory will be a comfort and a blessing to her loved ones.

I had the wonderful privilege of knowing Dr Ridinger during my time at MSU. I participated in several of her studies. She was simply a delight. Prayers of peace, comfort, and most of all grand memories to all she has left behind.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Coach was such an instrumental part of my development as a player, a student and a person. A true legend! May all the wonderful memories I have, along with those that her family and friends cherish, provide some comfort today and the days ahead.

Rhonda was such a wonderful influence in so many lives. Mine was just one of them. Rhonda's impact on those she touched is her legacy. I will be forever grateful she was my field hockey coach, mentor and friend.
