Richard Brian Boland passed to his heavenly home, Sunday, August 7th at the age of 76. Richard Brian Boland passed to his heavenly home, Sunday, August 7th at the age of 76.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, his children, Camilla Durbin and David Boland, his grandchildren Adrienne Riedle, Abigail Durbin, and Claire Boland, and his great grandchildren Bristol, Tanton and Hazel-Eliana Riedle.
Richard served his Lord, Jesus Christ, all his life as a professor of music at Baptist Bible College, a minister of music at Cherry Street Church and South Side Baptist Church. He was a dedicated family man who loved camping, traveling abroad, and golfing, as well as anything that involved his earthly family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 5:00-7:00, and services will be at Cherry Street Baptist Church Thursday, August 11. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manna Worldwide (online or through Cherry Street Baptist Church).
