Rick Criger, 54, passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side in Springfield, Missouri on November 29, 2011.
He was born October 12, 1957, in Springfield, Missouri to Glen and Louise Criger. He graduated from Central High in 1975, and moved on to become a plant and department manager at Litton A.C.D. for 28 years. After retiring from Litton, he began a successful business, investing in real estate.
Rick enjoyed life to its fullest. He was an active hunter, fisherman, and a die-hard Chiefs fan! He appreciated the good things in life such as; traveling, NASCAR, going to the casino and his dog Spencer. He surrounded himself with family and friends just shooting the… , well you know.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Criger.
He is survived by his mother Louise, Brother Jeff, loved one Lynn, to whom he married on March 11, 1988. Their two sons, Ricky Criger and Vinnie Hagerman and his son Tyler, Rick’s favorite grandson. He is also survived by his niece Tara, nephew Blake, and great niece Paisley who shares the same birthday as Rick.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, in Springfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 starting at 1:00 PM also in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
