Richard Joseph Perazzo, age 82, of Fordland, MO, passed away Friday, June 10, 2011 in Christian Health Care East. He was born June 19, 1928, in Alhambra, California, to Frank and Ethel (Williams) Perazzo.
Richard served in the United States Navy and will be receiving full military honors.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his companion, Della B. Jones of Fordland, Mo.; one daughter, Patty and husband Len Lindenmayer of Glendora, California; one son, Frank and wife Ester of Windsor, California; two sisters, Winnie Levoy of Lake Forest, California, and Carolyn Newlin of Huntington Beach, California; one grandson and wife of Glendora, California; one granddaughter and husband of California; one great-grandson; two great-granddaughters; two nieces; two grandnephews; and one grandniece, all of California.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO with Mr. Randall J. Jones officiating. No formal visitation is planned, but friends may come by the funeral home to pay respects at their convenience between Sunday morning, June 12 and Tuesday’s services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fordland United Methodist Church.
