Richard enjoyed fishing, cars watching Nascar and especially spending time with his family. He attended Halltown Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father Truman Locke, brother, Tom Locke, niece Monte Locke, nephew Bear Locke and step-father Bud Carsten. He is survived by his mother Dorothy Carsten, son Cory Locke and daughter Chelsi Locke-Suchey, grandchildren; Alexus Oesterreicher and Pasley McDonald; brothers; Skip and wife Margie Locke and Ed and wife Nancy Locke; sisters; Genny and husband Ron White and Sharon and husband Ed Rice, 14 nieces and nephews and a close friend Wendy Parks.
