Ricky Lynn Randles, born May 3, 1954, to Laren Diamond and Lois Ellenor Randles, went to be with God March 25, 2013, about a month shy of his 59th birthday.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; and a sister, Sharon Jones. He is survived by his beloved wife Dorleen Faye; a daughter, Krystal Lynn; a son, Brett Edward; a daughter-in-law, Kourtney Alexis; and two beautiful grandchildren, Nevaeh Alexis and Jude Cash Randles; along with a brother, Delmar Randles; and sister-in-law, Marcha Randles of Willard, MO; and a brother, Don Randles; and sister-in-law, Cindy Randles of Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and a multitude of friends.
In his earlier years, Ricky worked as a bricklayer. He was then at Willard Block for 12 years and has since been at Midwest Block and Brick for last 24 years. His world revolved around his family. He loved weekends with his wife and kids. His grandkids were the highlight of his life.
It never mattered what he had going on, he’d drop anything to go help a friend. He never missed an episode of The Voice, which he watched with his daughter on Monday nights, even though he had to ask her every week what night it came on. Ricky loved NASCAR. Races of any kind always had his attention. He had a true passion for just about anything car related and had a dream of one day finishing a rat rod project he started with his son.
He was a man of few, very quietly spoken words, but when he spoke you listened.
He is sorely missed, deeply loved and forever will remain in our hearts.
