Robert Van Lee Bohnstedt, 68, Republic, Missouri passed away on June 9, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1957 in Springfield, Missouri to Juanita Gregory and Clifford Bohnstedt. Robert worked at the family business B&W Auto Salvage and managed it till he sold the business and retired.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Jr. Bohnstedt; grandmother, Viona Walker; uncle, James Bohnstedt; aunt, Stella Bohnstedt; son, Erik Bohnstedt; and a nephew, Joshua Sweeton.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Bohnstedt; brother, Clifford Bohnstedt; sister, Karen Bohnstedt; daughter, Lacy Wingo; grandchildren, Ali Gatdner, Leah Gardner, and Owen Gardner, Houston Bohnstedt, and Avery Bohnstedt.
Robert was an outdoorsman, he was very passionate about hunting and enjoyed fishing, camping, shooting guns, Indian artifacts and just being in nature. If he put his mind to something he would accomplish it. He had a dog named BB that he loved dearly and was his best friend.
