Robert Clinton Staley, lovingly known as Rob, passed away on October 24, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 13, 1950, in Lawrence, Kansas.
Throughout his life, Rob held many different professions, but one of his most enjoyed roles was working as a certified mechanic for Ford Motor Company. His life took him to many places, including Kansas City, Missouri; West Bloomfield and Dearborn, Michigan; Atlanta, Georgia; Virginia; and Springfield, Missouri, Rob was very personable and friendly with every person he met, and he always had a story. He held many interests, was very nostalgic and had an excellent recall of his life experiences.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Kit Sue Staley; his brothers, David Staley and his twin brother, Rick (John) Staley, who passed away just four days before Rob.
He leaves behind his four sisters, Paula Marcoux and her husband, Jim; Laura Barry; Lisa Hays and her husband, Bob; and Leslie Posada and her husband, Al. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.
Rob and his twin brother, Rick, will both be cremated and, at a later date, their remains will be laid to rest alongside their brother David’s remains in Monterey, California.
Rob will be remembered by his family and loved ones, and his memory will live on through the many lives he touched throughout his years.
