Chaplain, Colonel Jonathan Wade, USAF (Retired) left a message on May 5, 2025:
I have known Craig since at least high school. We both served our country. And we kept un touch in these latter years through social media. His humor was infectious. His love for his country, his fellow veterans, and the honor he always showed us was constantly on display. It is an honor and privilege to have known him. Your tour of duty is complete my friend. Carry on in peace.

Jeffrey Chipetine left a message on April 9, 2025:
Craig was one of a few who would 'quietly' guide the new mechanics 'in the background;. When something especially important (or potentially dangerous) arose he would pick up the telephone w/ a few words of caution. I received a couple of those calls (going back 25+ years), was initially embarrassed to have gone 'missed' on some of my ideas, but always grateful he took the time to watch out for me. A few years back when AOPA was hosting one of their 1st gatherings under Mark Baker's guidance. We put together a good group of guys to man the CPS booth (we were invited), but it was Craig that put together the boots-on-the-ground support that made it possible, bringing tents, tables, and all the gear we had forgotten. For the record, he had worked late, stayed up later, and showed up looking to pitch in. Could not have made the effort without him. He served our USA and was a true gentleman. Loved his pets, and loved his friends. Tailwinds to Craig, and thanks to his family for sharing him with us all. He will be missed and will always have the respect he earned.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We are so sorry for your loss. I only knew Craig for a little while, but I know he was a genuine man that I could look up to.
Aaron Chandler left a message on April 8, 2025:
I am extremely sad to learn of Craig‘s passing. Craig was fun to work with and an excellent aircraft mechanic, I am happy for having the opportunity to work with him in Phoenix, rest in peace, my friend.
