Robert Darrell Loonsfoot, age 65, died on March 19, 2021 at Mercy hospital in Springfield, MO. Robert was born February 9, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI to Edmund W. Loonsfoot and Helen M. “Forester” Loonsfoot. Robert worked in the Springfield area for many years as a painter and enjoyed golfing with his brothers and friends every chance he got. His daughter Tawsha and grandaughter Journi were his pride and joy. He cherished every minute with them, especially when he was watching football with Tawsha or cooking barbecue for them out on the grill. Robert was best known by his friends and family as “Two Dogs”. Robert was also a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community in Baraga, MI.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom, sister Geneva, and his grandson Michael Hill Jr. and Kay. Robert is survived by his daughter Tawsha Renee Hill, step-daughters Joni and Jennifer, grandaughter Journi Caldwell of Springfield, brothers Cleyon and wife Sharon, Wayne and wife Kim, Glen and wife Becky, and Henry and wife Judy and sister Ella Mae and Gaile and husband Craig, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and friends. Robert is also survived by his childhood friends of over 50 years Blackard, Poindexter, Stagner, and Teaver.

Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and funeral services will be Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn South in Springfield. Graveside burial services will be held on April 3, 2021 @ 1:00 p.m. For family and friends unable to attend, the service can be viewed live via Zoom, meeting ID 895 3342 8952 .
