Robert (Bob) Dean Cornelison,64,of Bois D’ Arc went home to be with his Savior Sunday, November 18, 2012.
Bob was amember of Yeakley Chapel and a lifelong member of Bois D’Arc Baptist. He served in the United States Army durning Vietnam. Titles cannot describe the kind of husband,dad,and grandpa he was. Though our hearts are aching, his legacy will live forever. He lived life to the fullest untill his journey was complete.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Lois Cornelison, hismother and father-in-law Elbert and Hettie Stillings, his siters Anita Duvall, Billie Manning,brothers Ed and Joe Cornelison, several brothers and sister-in-law.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Diane Cornelison, his children Vincent and Stacie Cornelison, Johnny and Cassie Downs, James and Jeni Cornelison, Eric and Amanda Gribben, and Joshua and Wendy Cornelison. He leaves behind his grandchildren Austin, Allyssa,Ella,Skiler, Brandy, Tanner,Kayla, Landon,Tatum,Sadie,Callie,Mollie and two great grandchildren, his siblings Ted and Debbie Cornelison, Barbara Brown, Gretchen Stillings, Freda Cornelison, andDarra and larry Manuel, and Wallace and Glenda Stillings. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
“He has fought the good fight. He has finished his course. He has kept the faith. Now he goes home to his reward.”
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Stillings Cemetery in Ava, MO.
