He was united in marriage June 21, 1958, to Dickie Misner.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Bud Gillaspie; and two sisters:
Rosane Poitevint, and Lois Brumbaugh.
He
is survived by his wife of 55 years Dickie D. Gillaspie of the home; one son Robert
“Scott” Gillaspie and wife Risa of Sedalia, MO; four grandchildren: Kenneth Scott Gillaspie, Samantha Jo Woolery,
Laurice Marie Gillaspie all of Sedalia, MO, and Robert John Gillaspie of Little
Rock, AR; four great grandchildren: Gabby, Kael, Carmah, and Fahte; one brother
Jack Gillaspie and wife Shirley of Bolivar, MO; three sisters: Margaret McGill,
and Ruth Ballensky both of Newhall, CA, and Lillian Ruppel of WA; as well as
many other relatives and friends.
Private
family services will be held at a later date.
