Robert “Bob” Severing, 72, of Springfield, MO, passed away on March 19, 2018. Bob was born on June 13, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from Coraopolis High School in 1963, then enrolled in Drury University. He enlisted to serve in the US Army from 1964 to 1967, including a tour in Vietnam. He retired from the French’s factory after many years of service. He was a member of the Holy Trinity church and a two time cancer survivor. His hobbies included cars, motorcycle riding, and travelling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Edward Severing. He is survived by his daughter, Terri, and his son, Eric; 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Mackenzie, and Autumn; a great-granddaughter, Rilynn; his stepfamily, Matt, Lindsay, Briar, Emmalyn; and pet Ginger.
There will be a memorial visitation on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 from 4 PM to 6 PM in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. In lieu of any flowers or gift, please make a donation to www.nataliesart.org.
