Roberta Joy Richardson, born December 31, 1926 passed away October 24, 2010 in her home with her family. She was married August 18, 1946 to Fred L. Richardson, Jr., who preceded her in death. Left to mourn her passing are her four children and their spouses, Nancy and Bernie Fechter of Memphis, Tennessee, Patsy and Chuck Hutton of O’Fallon, Missouri, Timothy and Susan Richardson of Springfield, Missouri, and Matthew and Traci Richardson of Willard, Missouri, 9 grandchildren, three great granddaughters and countless friends and relatives.
Roberta was a talented artist, gardener, and loving friend who found beauty in everything. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Roberta’s life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Center Baptist Church, (www.centerbaptistchurch.org), 5124 N. Farm Road 43 in Ash Grove, Missouri beginning at 1:00 p.m. Private interment will be at the Missouri Veterans’ Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
