Roger Steven Banfield, age 36, of Willard, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015. He was born February 27, 1979, in Springfield, MO, to Darren Banfield and Janis James. Roger was a 1997 graduate of Conway High School in Conway, AR. He served in the United States Army. Roger enjoyed mudding in his truck, hunting, and welding. His greatest love was spending time with his children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darren Roger Banfield. He is survived by his wife,Tracy Lee Banfield, Willard, MO; three children, Joshua Miller, Joanne Banfield, and Darren Banfield; his mother, Janis Wren, Conway AR; step-father, James Wren, Hot Springs, AR; two brothers, Joseph Wren and Jon Wren; two sisters, Lisa Wren and Carolyn Wren; paternal grandparents, David and Sarah Jane Beckerdite; and a host of family and friends .
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, MO.
