Ronald Lee Miller, 60, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 4:40 p.m. Ron is the beloved husband of Karen (Harris) Miller.
Ron was born on November 7, 1951 in Greene County, Missouri, where he was raised by George and Mattie Miller. He has called Springfield, MO home for the majority of his life. Ron married Karen Harris on August 30, 1996. For the past several years, Ron worked as a maintenance man for Forest Park Apartment complex.
Ron is predeceased by his dad, George Miller.
He is survived by his mother, Mattie; wife, Karen; 2 daughters and 4 sons and their spouses: Rene Goodwin (John), Rhonda Allen (Clint), Ron Miller, Jr. (Angie), Brad Allen, Clint Miller (Nancy), Richard Watson (Crystal); one sister, Connie Duncan; 26 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in The Crossing Baptist Church (formerly known as Bellview Baptist Church), Springfield, MO, at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Bellview Cemetery.
For people who would prefer to make donations in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Oxford Hospice or The Crossing Baptist Church.
