Ronald Lee Shisler

Ronald Lee “Ron” Shisler, 63, passed away on September 21, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri.

Ron was born on November 19, 1962. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Ron worked for Loren Cook Company in Springfield, Missouri, for 25 years. During those years, he was also a proud member of United Steelworkers Local 15485 in Springfield for 25 years. His many years of hard work and dedication were an important part of his life.

Ron enjoyed the simple things that made life meaningful. He loved riding his motorcycle and the freedom of the open road. He also enjoyed collecting coins, a hobby that brought him many hours of enjoyment. Above all, Ron treasured spending time with his family and the memories they made together.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Shisler; his father, Paul Shisler; his sister, Carol Copeland; and his brother, Charles Shisler.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Sherrie Shisler; stepdaughter, Tammy Keeling; stepson, Les Fagan and his wife, Sindy; granddaughter, Nicole Hutchinson and her husband, Nathan; great-grandson, Josh Peacock; great-granddaughter, Calleigh Brewer; brother, Gary Shisler and his wife, Deanna; brother-in-law, Jim Copeland; sister-in-law, Sharon Shisler; uncle, Jerry Shisler and his wife, Patsy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ron’s life will be remembered through the stories shared by those who knew him, the miles traveled on his motorcycle, the coins he carefully collected, his many years of hard work, and most importantly, the family he loved.

Ron will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
