In Loving Memory of Ronda Gay Ousley
Ronda Gay Ousley, age 68, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on October 21st, 2026. A woman of unwavering faith, she dedicated her life to loving Jesus Christ, serving others, and cherishing her family. While she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now pain-free, at peace in the presence of her Lord and reunited with those who have gone before her.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
Ronda was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished Nana, beloved aunt, and treasured friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma Lorene Peck and Bill Peck; her in-laws, Eugene and Florence Ousley; her sister-in-law, Linda Hammer; and her nephew, Ronnie Ousley.
She is survived by her devoted husband of more than 50 years, Edward Ousley; her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Matthew Shipman; her beloved grandchildren, Kooper and Kinsley Shipman, who were the absolute joy of her life; her brother, Billy Peck and wife Carla; her sister-in-law, Tami Sutton and husband Royce; her brother-in-law, Danny Ousley and wife Vivian; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Ronda found joy in shopping, gardening, sewing, photography, playing cards with her card club friends, attending church events, and spending time at the beach. Nothing brought her greater happiness than cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events. She was their biggest fan and rarely missed an opportunity to support and celebrate them even as her disease progressed.
To know Ronda was to be loved by her. She had a special gift for making others feel welcomed, valued, and cared for, touching countless lives through her kindness, encouragement, and prayers. Above all, her life reflected her love for Jesus Christ and her devotion to family. Ronda leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and joyfully remembered until the day we are reunited in Christ. ❤️
If Ronda could leave one final message, it would be this: put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ! Her greatest desire was for others to know the hope, grace, and eternal life found through a personal relationship with Him.
