Rondall Joe Sutton passed away September 15, 2011 at Cox Medical Center.
He was born in Corbin Kentucky to Homer and Hazel Sutton on August 17, 1932.
In June 1957 he and Shelba Jean Hall were married in a small church in Woodbine, Kentucky.
Joe was in sales most of his life representing the Marine industry. He loved his work and enjoyed the people he worked with. His wonderful smile and love of people will be greatly missed. He proudly served is Country in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife Shelba of 54 years, a son Mark, son Hugh Scott, a daughter, Amy Beth Sutton- Hilmes, and her husband Tom and six Grandchildren, Allen, Alexander, Joe, Cora, Vincent and Lillian.
Joe’s heart was full of forgiveness and love of God, Family and Country.
He never met a stranger nor condemned anyone for their faults because he knew all of us have faults. He accepted everyone as they are.
No formal Visitation is planned. Friends may call at the Funeral Home anytime on Sunday.
There will be a private Graveside Service with full Military Honors.
Joe left this earthly life seeing a beautiful bright light and singing with the angels. His last words were
“No More Pain”.
