Ronnie Gene Bennett II 50, Springfield, MO. passed away Friday, March 16, 2018, in his home, after battling and beating ALS He was born in Springfield, MO. on February 9, 1968, to Ronnie Gene Bennett and Carol Sue (Rich) Bennett. He was a Facility Surveyor II for the State of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, his grandfather: Elzy Joe Rich (Pepa), grandmother: Geraldine Myrl Rich (MeMa), and grand parents: J. B. and Fern Bennett.
He is survived by his wife: Dawnella Bennett, a daughter and her husband: Abagail M. Alderman and her husband Timothy, a son, Taylor and his wife Kelsie, two grand-daughters: Mallory and Zoey, his mother: Carol Sue Bennett, one brother: Bruce Bennett and his wife, Melissa, one sister: Rhonda Bennett, along with several nieces, nephews, friends and family. He is also survived by his fur babies, whom he loved like his own family: Lou, Rosie, Dakota, Mitts, and Ci Ci, Thumps, his grand doggies: Sassy and Cooper and grand-kitties: Paul and Derek.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
