Ronnie “Sprocket” Hall of Springfield, Missouri, age 63, passed unexpectedly and met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2025. He was born August 29, 1962, in Springfield, Missouri, to Robert and Beatrice Hall and lived in Willard during his childhood.
He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jamie Hedgpeth, on October 10, 2020, and they were blessed with 5 years and 2 months together, of which were the happiest and most fulfilling times of their lives. They both were thankful to experience a once in a lifetime love.
Ronnie retired from Conco Quarries in 2019 after 30 plus years of devoted service and dedication. He was much loved by all who worked with him.
Ronnie was a Harley Davidson enthusiast (an FXR man) and lived and breathed the motorcycle lifestyle since he was a young teenager. He enjoyed many road trips with his Maroono buddies and made lots of lifetime memories. He also loved trading trucks and motorcycles and was known to have several of each at any given time.
He was saved and baptized in June 1999 and was bold about telling others about Jesus and what He’d done for him. He frequently spoke at churches about his salvation and would share his testimony freely.
After retirement, he enjoyed attending a men’s fellowship group at Evangel Temple and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronnie loved to talk with anyone and everyone he met, and nothing brought him more fulfilment than visiting with people, fully having the gift of storytelling. He never met a stranger and had a unique way of walking into a room and making everyone smile or laugh. A man of principle, integrity, intuition, and generosity, he stood for what is right, and everyone who met him loved him. He was a very methodical and meticulous man and there was no other like him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and an example of genuine faith and trust in Jesus and would recall daily what the Lord had done for him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beatrice Hall and a sister Lila Hall. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jamie Hall, sister, Sharon Tracy and nephew Jason Tracy, his wife, Gina, and children, Stephen and Patsy Hedgpeth, father and mother-in-law, Jason and Rosario Hedgpeth, brother and sister-in-law, 3 nephews and their families and 2 great nephews.
A visitation will be held on January 5 at 10am with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11am at Greenlawn North in Springfield, Missouri. He will be buried at Payne Cemetery in Nixa MO, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in memory of Ronnie to Freeway Ministries or Toys for Tots Motorcycle Run.
In Ronnie’s handwritten words: “What happens is God’s plan, not ours. Leave it all to God.”
