With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rory Grant Clark, who departed this life on February 19, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on November 19, 1958, in Modesto, California, Rory touched the lives of many throughout his lifetime. He spent his final years in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by his family and the love for them that he held so dear.
Rory is survived by his beloved daughter, Lisa Maddux, and his cherished grandsons, Tyler and Noah Maddux. He also leaves behind his granddaughters , Kayla and Alexis Swearengin, and great-grandchildren, Dean and Samuel Maddux, who carry forward his legacy of love and family.
Rory was preceded in death by his daughter, Felicia Swearengin; his parents, Donald Clark and Sarah Supulveda; and his brother, Eric Clark. He is also survived by his brothers Pat Clark, Donnie Clark and Jimmy Clark, as well as many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember the joy and kindness he brought into their lives.
Rory had a deep passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, caving and just exploring the outdoors. He enjoyed restoring old cars. He collected knives and had hobbies that reflected the adventurous spirit and appreciation for craftsmanship that defined him. Rory’s kind heart, gentle nature, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Rory’s life and the lasting impact he had on those around him. Services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on March 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
