A grand homecoming took place in heaven September 19th, 2011 for Rosalie Barnard, 87 of Ozark, MO. She passed away after suffering a severe stroke in her home.
Rosalie was born November 7, 1923, in Selmore, MO to Efton and Rena Haworth. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Elvin Haworth and sister Opal Basore. She is survived by her brother Lavern Haworth, son Jim and his wife Dianne Carr of Winnsboro, TX and daughter Beth and husband Howard Haynes of Ozark, MO.
Rosalie was blessed by grandchildren; Don and wife Allie Carr, Troy and wife Tina Carr, Melody Carr, Julie and husband Richard Irby, Gregory and wife Lynn Stewart and Lori and husband Chris Snyder in addition to 13 great grandchildren.
Rosalie was a graduate of Senior High School class of 1941 in Springfield, MO. She retired February 28, 1986, from the Assemblies of God Headquarters, Dept. of Foreign Missions. Rosalie was a dedicated member of Evangel Temple and beloved member of the Radiant Life class. She enjoyed working in her yard and was a part of Brentwood Garden Club. Until her death she was active in the Ozark Senior Center enjoying Tai Chi and visiting with friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she will be missed greatly by all that knew her.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with Pastor Charles Arsenault of Evangel Temple officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
