Rose Ann (Johnson) Dalton age 75 of Springfield, MO left this earth and went to her heavenly home on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 12:56 p.m.  She was a devoted wife of 54 years. She was an amazing mother and Nanny who cherished her family and the time that she spent with them.  She was known by her family and friends for her strong faith, her strength through adversities and compassion for others.

Rose Ann was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church for 50 years and enjoyed singing in the choir for 45 of those years.  She had a passion for antiquing that she inherited from her grandma Pansy.   She loved baking and crafting and was always making something special for her family.  One of her favorite places to go was to the beach. It was her “peaceful” place.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rosetta Anderegg and Walter Johnson, her sister Joy Lamberson-Klock, and her nephew Randy Lamberson. Survivors include her husband Steve Dalton and 3 daughters, Heather Kirk, Kim Marlin and husband Greg, Piper Wagstaff and husband Chris. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Derek Marlin and wife Tiffany, Dalton Kirk, Owen Marlin, and one great-grandchild Easton Marlin. She was also survived by many other deeply loved family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:30 a.m.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
