Rose L. Barker, age 86, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011. She was born on August 24, 1925 in Springfield, MO to James and Effie Morehouse.
Rose is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years Tim Barker, a son Tim Barker Jr. and his wife LeAnn, grand-daughters Charity Barker, Carrie Short and Sarah Cox.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son J.L. “Smokey” Cox and all her siblings.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mt. Grove, MO following the service. Visitation will be on Friday September 2, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzhelmers Association.
