Ross Leon Taylor, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away at the age of 84 years while surrounded by the love of those who knew him best. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.
Ross was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Taylor of 64 years; his daughter, Deborah Turner and her husband, Roldan; his cherished grandson, Kyler Turner and his wife, Amanda; and his sister, Donna Jameson and her husband, Gary. He also leaves behind his extended family, including grandchildren he welcomed through marriage, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Ross was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Taylor; mother, Hazel Cartwright; two brothers, Johnny Taylor and Dwight Taylor; and one sister, Patsy Miller.
For many years, Ross dedicated himself to his craft as a grinder/welder at Paul Mueller Company, where his strong work ethic and steady hands earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike. He took pride in his work and in providing for his family.
Outside of his profession, Ross found his greatest happiness in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, spending countless hours in nature where he felt most at peace. Whether casting a line, tracking game, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the natural world, those moments brought him true contentment. He also treasured traveling with his wife and family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
Ross will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his quiet strength, and his kind, steady presence. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Ross Taylor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center in Ozark, Missouri.
