Roy Dee Hulett, Sr., 80 of Humansville, passed away January 2, 2016 at Citizens Memorial
Hospital, Bolivar MO.
He was born February 7, 1935 in Cottonwood Falls, KS the son of Virgil Hulett & Flora (Baker)
Hulett. He married Wilberta J. Paul on July 31, 1954. They had four children.
Roy retired after 20 years of decorated service in the United States Army. After retiring he, Wilberta
and family returned to the Humansville area.
Roy is proceeded in death by his parents, sisters, Peggy, Wanita & Gayle; brothers Ellsworth,
Vic & Paul.
Roy is survived by his wife of 61 years Wilberta, Daughters Ronda (Larry) Lean, Collins, MO,
Flora Beckman, Clinton MO, Sons; Roy Jr. (Irma) Hulett, Wamego, KS, Jimmy (Angela) Hulett,
Omaha NE. 12 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren. Siblings
Catherine (Bill) Garrison, Twilla Johnson, Rex (Wanita) Hulett, Judy (Paul) Bissing and many
nieces & nephews.
Roy was a member of the Humansville Boot & Saddle Club he helped establish the Youth
Rodeo in Humansville and organizing Trail Rides to fund raise for St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
Graveside services with Military Honors, will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at
Humansville Cemetery. Visitation will be held immediately after the service at the Humansville United Methodist Church 802 W. Tilden, Humansville, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests Memorial Contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
