Ruth “Kay” Caldwell, 53 of Springfield passed away February 19, 2011. She was born June 1, 1957, in Springfield to Ed and Ruth Caldwell who preceded her in death.
Kay-Kay always loved being with family and friends, and was always there with a helping hand and a glass of sweet tea. Her daughters and grandchildren were the stars of her life.
Kay is survived by her three daughters, Joni Davis and husband Ammond, Jennifer Caldwell, Tawsha Hill and husband Michael; granddaughters Keara and Justice; grandson Sha’Ron; fiancé Larry Ford; sisters Louise Walker, Brenda Maggard; special Aunt Shirley; nieces; nephews; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial following at Manley Cemetery, Battlefield, MO. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kay Caldwell Benefit Account at any Great Southern Bank.
