Ruth E. Jackson passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 in Woodland Manor Nursing Facility, Springfield, MO. She was born August 31, 1917 in Little Rock, AR, the daughter of W.R. and Emma Stephenson.
Ruth was a long time member of the Berean Baptist Church in Springfield and was once a member of the Eastern Star in Boonville, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bishop Marvin Jackson, 1 sister, 4 brothers and 1 great grandson.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Lois Wagoner of Indianapolis, IN, sons and their wives; John and Lynn Jackson of Broadway, VA and Gary and Sue Jackson of Springfield, MO, 5 grandsons and their spouses; Craig and Jenny Wagoner and Ken and Jeannette Wagoner all of Indianapolis, IN, Scott and Shana Jackson of Nixa, MO, Jeff Jackson of St. Louis, MO and Kevin and Kelley Jackson of St. Charles, MO, 1 granddaughter and her husband, Amanda and James Jadwin of Ozark, MO, 18 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will start at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
