Springfield, MO – Ruth Jacqueline Randall, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, at the age of 96. Born on August 31, 1927, in Granite City, IL, Ruth led a fulfilling life dedicated to her family, career, and community.
Ruth was an exemplary individual who cherished education and successfully obtained her High School Diploma. She went on to become a Supervisor in the Civil Service industry, working diligently for the Department of the Army. Ruth’s dedication and professionalism earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ruth was a loving and devoted mother. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her children, and her family. Ruth’s nurturing nature and unwavering support enriched the lives of her children, instilling in them the values of compassion and determination.
Ruth was also a cherished sister to Thomas Boker, William Boker, Robert Boker, John Boker, Harriet Glasgow, and Clifford Boker. Her strength and unwavering support brought immeasurable joy to their lives. Her warm and caring presence will be deeply missed by her siblings and their families.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at G.C. First in Granite City Illinois at a later date.
